SUMMARY:

Provides health care services, applying x-ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment. Performs radiographic procedures and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by; or at the request of a licensed practitioner

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Education Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiography Certificate Program or Associate of Science Degree in Radiologic Technology.

Experience

• One to three years of radiography experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Skills & Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures, equipment operation, radiation safety, patient positioning techniques, and patient transfer practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Demonstrates professionalism, ethical conduct, and a patient-centered approach to care.
• Understanding of age-specific developmental needs across pediatric and geriatric populations.
• Flexible and willing to work overtime, participate in on-call coverage, and rotate weekends as needed.
• Interest in supporting the training, orientation, and clinical education of radiography students in accordance with established clinical education program guidelines.

Certifications & Licensure

• Current certification in Radiography through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), or equivalent certification, maintained through annual renewal.
• Current Massachusetts Radiography License, maintained through biannual renewal.
