We are looking for a driven, customer-centric Customer Experience Associate to join our team. Employment Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $20-21/hour

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct high-volume outbound outreach via phone, email, and SMS to connect with clients regarding missed, past-due, or defaulted payments.

• Partner with clients to understand the root cause of payment issues, negotiate solutions, and collect outstanding balances.

• Structure approved payment arrangements, secure firm commitments, and follow up consistently on scheduled payment dates.

• Navigate sensitive financial conversations with tact, professional composure, and clear boundaries, keeping the customer relationship positive.

• Meticulously log all customer interactions, payment commitments, and account status updates in our CRM.

• Work closely with Billing, Operations, and Customer Experience teams to resolve account discrepancies and eliminate friction points.

• Identify recurring patterns or system issues contributing to customer defaults and share actionable feedback with leadership.

What You Bring

• 3–5+ years in collections, accounts receivable, outbound calling, or customer retention is preferred.

• High school diploma or equivalent required (Bachelor’s degree is a plus).

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex account and billing details clearly and simply.

• Strong problem-solving mindset, comfortable handling objections, and confident discussing overdue balances.

• Patience, active listening, and the resilience to stay calm and constructive during difficult conversations.

• Comfort managing high call volumes, navigating daily account queues, and hitting target performance metrics.

• Solid experience with modern CRM platforms and ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, Freshdesk, Logix, or Salesforce).
