IS Clinical Systems Trainer- Information Systems, Per Diem, Bridgeton

MAJOR FUNCTION:

This position is responsible for delivering clinical systems classroom training as well as at-the-elbow adoption support. This position will contribute to the learning experience of students, provide hands-on learning opportunities, attend train-the-trainer sessions, maintain classroom training administration records, and provide go-live and ongoing adoption support for clinicians on the clinical systems.

QUALIFICATION:

Education & Experience:

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.                           
• Experience in delivering professional education programs in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Experience working with and supporting other clinicians in the use of clinical applications such as Cerner Millennium (preferred). 
• Prior experience as a system super use and/or Subject Matter Expert for IT implementations (preferred). 

Certification/Licensure:    

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse preferred.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills required.
• Strong customer service orientation coupled with strong interpersonal/relationship building skills required.

Physical Requirements:     

• May be required to sit for long periods of time to operate computer application.
• May be required to stand for long periods of time to deliver training. 
• May be required to drive between hospitals and satellite units.
