Lorien Elkridge is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our community. As a Front Desk Receptionist, you will play a key role in creating a positive first impression for residents, families, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities

Receptionists are the first point of contact for our company. (Duties include)  

• Greet residents, visitors, and staff with professionalism and warmth
• Answer and route incoming phone calls efficiently
• Manage front desk operations, including visitor sign‑in and badge distribution
• Maintain a clean, organized, and secure reception area
• Provide general administrative support as needed
• Communicate clearly with clinical and administrative departments
• Uphold HIPAA and confidentiality standards at all times

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Previous receptionist, customer service, or healthcare experience preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with office equipment
• Ability to safely lift, push, and pull up to 25–50 pounds as part of daily job responsibilities, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Schedule & Availability

• Full-Time hours
• 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM and 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM 
• Every other weekend availability required (Saturday & Sunday)
