Job Summary:

The Authorization Clerk is responsible for obtaining insurance authorizations for procedures done at the ASC as well as submitting appeals for denials.

Minimum Education, Experience, Training, and Licensures/Certifications/Registrations Required:  High School Diploma or equivalent required.  Minimum of one (1) year experience in a medical practice setting preferred.  Knowledge of computer applications such as Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint preferred.
