As a Security Officer supporting a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and assist employees and visitors with professionalism. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

Candidates MUST have a valid driver's license with at least one year of driving history

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial real estate facilities, common areas, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and maintain clear, accurate documentation of incidents, observations, and daily activities.
• Support a professional environment by communicating respectfully with building occupants and coordinating with site contacts, first responders, and Allied Universal leadership when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
