As we continue to scale our global platform, the Seasonal Retail Associate will play a critical role in connecting fans and collectors with the Fanatics sports memorabilia experience at Macy's Herald Square.

ROLE OVERVIEW

The Seasonal Retail Associate supports the Fanatics shop-in-shop inside Macy's Herald Square in New York City, helping fans and collectors discover and connect with sports memorabilia during the holiday season. This role delivers an exceptional customer experience, supports sales representatives, accurately processes transactions, and maintains an organized, inviting shopping environment that reflects the Fanatics brand.

• Work closely with sales representatives and store leadership to support sales goals and daily operations throughout the holiday season.

• Welcome customers, understand their interests, and guide them through the Fanatics sports memorabilia assortment to find the right product.
• Support sales representatives by assisting customers, locating merchandise, and facilitating a seamless end-to-end shopping experience.
• Build familiarity with products and authenticity information, partnering with sales representatives to address detailed customer questions.
• Maintain an inviting, organized sales floor with consistent attention to merchandise presentation and display standards.

• Identify practical opportunities to improve customer service, merchandise organization, and daily workflows.
• Respond promptly to customer needs and escalate questions or concerns to the appropriate sales representative or leader.

Ownership & Execution (Determined & Relentless Mindset)

• Accurately process purchases and other authorized transactions using the Macy's Point of Sale (POS) system, adhering to cash-handling, payment-processing, and loss-prevention procedures.
• Handle, package, and replenish memorabilia with care to protect merchandise integrity and support a positive customer experience.
• Assist with inventory counts, stockroom organization, and assigned opening and closing tasks.
• Follow Fanatics procedures and applicable Macy's Herald Square location requirements while representing the Fanatics brand professionally at all times.

CAPABILITIES & EXPERIENCE YOU BRING

Required Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age with the ability to work a flexible seasonal schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and maintain reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-facing retail environment.
• Attention to detail when processing transactions, handling payments, and managing sports memorabilia merchandise.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout scheduled shifts and lift, carry, and move merchandise weighing up to 25 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Professional appearance and demeanor that positively represents the Fanatics brand in a high-profile retail setting.
• Previous retail, customer service, or hospitality experience preferred; experience operating a POS system and handling payments is a plus.
• Genuine interest in sports, collectibles, or memorabilia preferred.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred.

The salary range represents base pay only and does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation.
