Patient Care Extender | Urgent Care River Campus

Join our CentraCare team as a Patient Care Extender at our new, second location, Urgent Care at River Campus - next to the Emergency Room! Opening February 2027

You'll work with a team of amazing healthcare professionals every day.  You'll join them to listen, then serve, guide, and heal!

At Urgent Care, the PCE will work in a fast-paced environment and will be responsible for assisting licensed medical staff in the quality treatment of patients and functions as a vital team member in providing patient/family centered care through tasks including wound irrigation, cleaning/dressing applications, crutch sizing, performing blood draws, EKGs, cleaning and stocking treatment rooms, documenting patient activity, and more. 

Schedule:

• Part Time | 48 hours every 2 weeks
• 12-hour shifts from 9am-9:30pm variable days
•  Every 3rd weekend, and rotating holidays

Pay and Benefits: 

• Pay starting at $20.72 per hour and up based on experience.
  • Pay range $19.53-$29.28

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills 
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required; can be obtained internally upon hire
