IT Systems Engineer

Fluke is seeking an IT Systems Engineer to support enterprise endpoint technologies, infrastructure operations, vulnerability remediation, and technical improvement initiatives across the organization. 

This role will be responsible for maintaining and improving endpoint management capabilities, supporting remediation of security and technology risks, and partnering closely with Fortive Shared Services on infrastructure operations and strategic initiatives. The successful candidate will work across endpoint management, identity, collaboration platforms, operating systems, and core infrastructure technologies while building broad technical expertise in enterprise IT environments. 

This position is ideal for an engineer who enjoys hands-on technical work, solving complex operational challenges, driving continuous improvement, and expanding their skills across infrastructure, endpoint management, and enterprise technology services. 

Key Responsibilities 

System Support & Device Lifecycle 

• Provide operational support for enterprise system technologies, including device lifecycle management, compliance, patching, and deployment activities.  

• Serve as a primary Fluke point of contact for system-related initiatives, coordinating with Fortive Shared Services.  

• Support new software initiatives, operating system upgrades, and remediation activities while ensuring effective communication and follow-through.  

• Assist with vulnerability remediation efforts by coordinating actions, tracking progress, and helping drive resolution across stakeholders. 

Vulnerability & Remediation Management 

• Support vulnerability remediation initiatives across endpoints and infrastructure platforms. 

• Partner with Information Security, infrastructure teams, and application owners to prioritize and resolve technical findings. 

• Track remediation activities and provide progress reporting against established objectives. 

• Assist with patch management, security updates, and technology lifecycle improvements. 

• Contribute to reducing operational and technology risk through proactive remediation and continuous improvement. 

Infrastructure Operations & Shared Services Partnership 

• Partner with Fortive Shared Services to support infrastructure operations, service delivery, and technical projects. 

• Assist with activities related to identity services, Microsoft 365, collaboration platforms, cloud services, networking, and core infrastructure technologies. 

• Support troubleshooting and resolution of infrastructure-related issues affecting business operations. 

• Contribute to infrastructure modernization, technology refresh, and operational improvement initiatives. 

Continuous Improvement 

• Develop and maintain operational documentation, procedures, and technical runbooks. 

• Support automation efforts using PowerShell or similar scripting tools. 

• Assist with reporting, dashboards, and operational metrics related to endpoint management, remediation activities, and infrastructure health. 

• Identify process improvement opportunities that increase efficiency, consistency, and service quality. 

• Participate in projects that improve the organization's technology and security posture. 

Required Qualifications 

• 3+ years of experience in systems administration, endpoint management, infrastructure operations, or a related IT background. 

• Experience supporting Windows operating systems and enterprise endpoint environments. 

• Familiarity with Microsoft Intune, Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, or similar enterprise technologies. 

• Understanding of patch management, vulnerability remediation, and technology lifecycle management. 

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. 

• Experience working across multiple teams to deliver technical solutions. 

• Strong written, verbal, and organizational communication skills.
