Allegro Fort Lauderdale is hiring a Full-Time Housekeeper for our PM shift. If you bring at least two years of housekeeping experience from a hotel or senior living setting and take genuine pride in a spotlessly maintained environment — this role is for you.

What You’ll Do:

• Clean and sanitize resident apartments, common areas, restrooms, and community spaces to the highest standards
• Change linens, make beds, and restock supplies as scheduled
• Collect and dispose of trash and soiled laundry throughout your shift
• Report maintenance issues and safety concerns promptly
• Follow all infection control and safety protocols
• Be a consistent, welcoming presence for residents and families every afternoon and evening

What You Bring:

• Minimum 2 years of housekeeping experience in a hotel or assisted living setting — required
• Strong attention to detail and a professional work ethic
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Comfortable working Monday–Friday with weekends included

The primary responsibility of the Housekeeper is to clean vacant apartments in preparation for move-in as well as to clean occupied apartments on a weekly basis or as scheduled, follow the cleaning schedule outlined for the cleaning of the common areas of the Community, and assure that the highest degree of cleanliness is always maintained.

Areas of Responsibility

• Clean vacant apartments in preparation for move-in using Company Checklist. Report any problem areas to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Clean occupied apartments, respite and guest apartments as scheduled using Company Checklist. Report any problem areas to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Detail clean halls and other common areas as scheduled or when requested by the Housekeeping Supervisor. Keep inventory of cleaning supplies to ensure an adequate supply. Report items needed to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Keep laundry rooms and housekeeping/linen rooms clean and organized. Clean lint from dryer lint traps daily and clean area behind washer & dryer equipment weekly.

Required Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• Should be familiar with safe operation of cleaning equipment such as vacuums, spray bottles, and with the safe use of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Must have a positive Criminal Background Screening.
• The Community is a drug free workplace, associates are subject to adherence to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum one (1) year housekeeping experience preferred.
