Analyst, Performance Metrics

Job Summary:

Job Description:

• Collects, validates, and consolidates data from multiple stakeholders to ensure accurate, high‑quality inputs for performance metric reporting.

• Analyzes complex data sets to identify trends, assess impacts, and deliver actionable insights that support regulatory and business decisions.

• Monitors performance metrics, identifies process improvement opportunities, and strengthens data quality and reporting frameworks.

• Develops automated spreadsheets, dashboards, and visualizations to streamline data processing and improve reporting accuracy.

• Prepares clear, comprehensive reports, filings, and summaries to communicate key findings and support timely regulatory submissions.

• Collaborates with stakeholders, communicates progress and risks, and escalates key issues to ensure compliance and timely deliverables.

• Follow established company policies, procedures, and standards to ensure full compliance with applicable laws and industry regulations.

• Participates in storm restoration tasks and assigned drills to contribute to the safe and reliable recovery of services.

• Performs additional tasks aligned with role expectations and qualifications to support team goals and operational flexibility.

Additional Job Description:

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field from an accredited university.

Experience

• 3 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, process improvement, identifying trends, and supporting business strategy through KPIs, metrics, forecasts, and other analytical functions.

• Experience with Access or other DBMS (e.g., SQL) and programing language preferred.

• Experience with dashboard development and maintenance in Power BI and/or Tableau is an asset.

Additional experience may substitute for required education when it aligns with the competencies and knowledge necessary for the role:

• Associate’s degree in a relevant field may substitute when accompanied by a minimum of 5 years of experience performing similar functions and at least 3 years of experience performing a previous Data Analyst role.

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Power Platform, including Power Automate and Power BI preferred.

• Proficient in MS Office and tools such as MS SharePoint.

• Strong problem-solving capabilities and fundamental understanding of algorithms, math and statistics.

• Highly organized and detail‑oriented, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Demonstrated discretion in internal and external communications.
