RiverView Health operates a 25 bed Critical Access Hospital, RiverView Recovery Center; a chemical dependency outpatient treatment program, RiverView Home Care and five primary care and specialty clinics in the hospitals service area.

Responsibilities

Clinic Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - supporting Ortho department (Full-Time) 

Location: Crookston Clinic (Primary) with occasional outreach clinic supportPosition Status: .8 FTE (64 hours per pay period); Non-exempt subject to OT

Schedule: 64 hours per two-week pay period; must be able to work weekend schedule (every 12th weekend) 

Pay Range: $22.36 - $28.92 (doe); includes competitive benefits package

Position Overview:We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team. This position will primarily support our Ortho Care provider(s) by assisting patients with their healthcare needs. Occasional travel to our outreach clinic may be required at times due to business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of providers.
• Administer medications, immunizations, and treatments as directed.
• Collect and document patient vital signs and health history.
• Assist with procedures and patient education.
• Coordinate patient care and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Ensure accurate documentation in electronic health records (EHR)
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum(s):

• Current LPN license in Minnesota and North Dakota. ND license must be obtained within 3 months of hire if not already held.
• Current American Heart Association CPR certification (or) must obtain within 4 months of hire w/ training provided.

Preferred(s):

• 2+ years of Clinic experience
