Scheduler - Brompton Heights

Brompton Heights, the premier assisted living facility in Williamsville, NY, is hiring for a Full-Time Scheduler to support our nursing department. 

Responsibilities: 

• Create and maintain nursing staff schedules 
• Ensure adequate coverage for all shifts 
• Communicate with staff regarding scheduling needs and changes 
• Assist with call-outs and last minute coverage 
• Maintain accurate records of staff information, attendance, and scheduling changes 
• Monitor staff availability, track attendance and manage call-ins to ensure adequate staffing levels and coverage
• Creatively addresses scheduling challenges, adapt to last-minute changes from call-ins or emergencies and assist with shift swaps 
• Assists as needed with recruiting, hiring, orientation and training of new employees

Qualifications: 

• Strong organizational and time-management skills 
• Excellent communications skills 
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment 
• Previous scheduling or administrative experience preferred
