If you enjoy making technology easier for others, and you're at home troubleshooting systems while building trust with coworkers, this role is for you. As our IT Support Specialist, you'll provide first-tier technical support, onboard staff to essential tools, and keep technology and office equipment working across the council.

The Basics

What You'll Do

As the IT Support Specialist, you'll own the first line of support for staff using Microsoft 365, Windows computers, the cloud-based phone system, customer management systems, email, and other council technology. You'll combine practical troubleshooting with clear teaching, accurate equipment records, and on-site operational support. You'll have real ownership of everyday technology experiences, with the opportunity to make tools more understandable and work more smoothly for colleagues across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

What You Bring

We are most interested in finding the best person for this job, who will be successful and satisfied in the role. If you believe you are that person, we encourage you to apply, even if you do not meet every qualification listed below.

About Girl Scouts of Oregon and Southwest Washington

Girl Scouts builds girls* of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. Girls in grades K–12 try new things, take on challenges, and discover what they're capable of. They explore STEM, camp under the stars, run their own cookie businesses, and lead projects that make their communities kinder. Along the way, they find friends who cheer them on and a place where they can truly be themselves.

Across Oregon and Southwest Washington, girls join the fun in troops, at camp, at local events, and on their own, guided by dedicated adult volunteers. Our staff make that possible. We support volunteers, create programs, run camps, and keep the council running so every girl has a place to belong.

Our culture and values guide how we work together to deliver on our mission:

We're building a workplace where everyone can contribute, grow, and belong, and everyone on our team helps create it through ongoing learning, reflection, and action.

*We use the word "girl" expansively and welcome all youth from kindergarten through 12th grade who see our girl-centered leadership experience as the right fit for them.

Equal Opportunity
