This diverse driving role includes planning delivery routes, transporting deliveries to customers, and transferring materials between our locations — making it ideal for someone who enjoys being active and being part of a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This role also requires maintaining maintenance and safety standards while providing world-class customer service while on delivery sites.

Responsibilities

As a CDL Driver, your role supports day-to-day operations in a fast-paced wholesale environment serving contractors and industry professionals. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

Delivery and Transportation 

• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules 
• Transport materials to and from retail or distribution centers. 
• Customer job site and warehouse delivery 

Vehicle Maintenance & Safety 

• Conduct pre and post trip vehicle inspections for mechanical items and safety issues 
• Perform preventative maintenance on vehicles 
• Comply with CDL rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures. 
• Report defects, accidents, or violations 

Customer Service 

• Communicate effectively with team members to fulfill orders and resolve issues 
• Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with customers on deliveries 

Requirements

What we are looking for… 

• Proven work experience as a CDL Driver 
• Hands-on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB, etc.) 
• Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations 
• No recent moving or driving violations 
• Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.) 
• Willing to submit to background/drug checks and provide employment recommendations 
• Valid CDL license 
• Ability to operate forklifts and other yard equipment 
• Strong customer service skills 
• Moffit & forklift experience is a plus
