• Prepare and execute high-quality menu items and daily specials, ensuring exceptional taste, presentation, and consistency.
• Contribute creativity and fresh ideas to the development of new menu items and specials.
• Collaborate with the Executive Chef and culinary team to maintain food quality, service standards, and kitchen efficiency.
• Support the Executive Chef in managing food costs, minimizing waste, and maintaining established budget guidelines.
• Ensure all food items are consistently prepared and served according to hotel standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment, ensuring equipment is properly used, inspected, and maintained.
• Adhere to all applicable federal, state, and local health, safety, sanitation, and labor regulations.
• Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.

Prepare, cook, and present high-quality menu items and daily specials for Portico Restaurant in accordance with established recipes, presentation standards, and food safety guidelines. Work collaboratively with the culinary team to maintain an organized, efficient kitchen while consistently delivering quality food and exceptional guest dining experiences.

• Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar culinary role.
• Strong attention to detail, creativity, and a passion for food preparation and presentation.
• High school diploma or equivalent; culinary training or certification preferred.
• Knowledge of food preparation, cooking and baking techniques, nutrition, and sanitation standards.
• Food safety or safe food handling certification preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, management, and fellow associates.
• Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive kitchen tasks in a fast-paced environment.
