Physician Assistant – Cardiac Surgery – Per Diem

Stamford Hospital is seeking an experienced Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant (PA) to join our dynamic cardiothoracic surgery team in a per diem capacity. This position is focused on managing patients in the ICU and on the floors, with no required operating room responsibilities.

The ideal candidate will have significant post-operative cardiothoracic ICU experience, with a strong understanding of managing complex post-surgical patients, including those requiring advanced hemodynamic support. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a highly skilled surgical and critical care team while maintaining flexibility with a per diem schedule.

Schedule: Per Diem, 12 hour and 24 hour shifts. Per diem commitment is approximately 24 hours per month. Department is 24/7 operational, weekends included.

Pay: $95.00/hour plus differentials for evening, nights, and weekends.
