Location: Plymouth, MN | Hybrid/Remote 

Are you a motivated sales professional who enjoys building relationships, solving business challenges, and learning technology? North Country is looking for a B2B Technical Sales Representative to join our growing team!

This is a great opportunity for someone who is confident, driven, and enjoys working with businesses to understand their needs and connect them with the right technology solutions. Experience in managed services or technology sales is a plus, but not required.

You’re an outgoing, motivated self-starter who enjoys connecting with people and turning opportunities into successful business relationships. You’re comfortable picking up the phone, meeting with clients, asking questions, and learning about technology solutions.

You don’t need to be a technology expert on day one. We can teach you the technology—we’re looking for someone with the drive, confidence, and willingness to learn.

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of sales experience preferred; degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or related field a plus
• Technology, software, managed services, telecom or cybersecurity experience is a plus
• Motivated, confident, and results-driven
• Strong communication, organization, time-management, and client service skills
• Ability to build strong client relationships and develop new business
• Comfortable with cold calling, networking, and learning new technology

What You’ll Be Doing

• Generate new business through cold calling, networking, referrals, and in-person meetings
• Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation 
• Develop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
• Identify client needs and recommend technology solutions that align with their business goals
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline while consistently identifying new business opportunities
• Prepare proposals, quotes, orders, and contracts, and respond to client questions throughout the sales process
• Collaborate with internal sales, service, and technical teams to deliver an exceptional client experience
• Maintain accurate CRM records, account information, and sales activity
• Stay current on products, technology, and industry trends to effectively communicate the value of our solutions
• Demonstrated success in closing sales and achieving revenue goals
• Strong account management, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Experience in technology, software, managed services, or technical sales preferred

We offer a competitive total compensation package ranging from $60,000 to $110,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. The package includes a base salary, performance-based incentives, and additional benefits.
