2nd Shift Seasonal PT Warehouse Associates

Simon & Schuster is seeking a reliable and motivated Seasonal Part-Time Warehouse Associate to join our Distribution Center in Riverside, NJ. This position will support the Case Seal Department by maintaining an efficient flow of cartons, inspecting packages, and monitoring conveyor operations to help ensure daily warehouse goals are met.

The ideal candidate is a team player who can work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, perform physically demanding tasks, and contribute to safe and efficient distribution operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a steady flow of cartons through the Case Seal Department.
• Inspect cartons for quality and ensure they are properly processed.
• Monitor conveyor lines and prevent backups to keep workflow moving efficiently.
• Operate the split-case back-wall conveyor line.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals.
• Perform additional duties as assigned based on departmental needs.
• Work overtime as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to meet the physical and operational demands of a warehouse environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
• Ability to work well with others and contribute to achieving daily goals.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.
• Ability to perform physical tasks involving twisting, bending, reaching, kneeling, and climbing.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

• Hours: Monday–Friday, flexible hours between 1:00 PM and 6:00 PM
