OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY

Broad’s Supply & Quality Management (SQM) team manages over $80m in annual inventory spend through a complex consumable supply chain. The materials SQM manages are critical to Broad’s mission, and are often costly, customized, single-sourced, and/or new to the market. SQM utilizes SAP to plan, procure, receive, track and distribute consumable inventory across the institute, ensuring a stable supply of materials is available to enable Broad’s groundbreaking research.
Reporting to the Manager, Supply Chain & Logistics, this role is critical to supporting Broad’s research efforts through high quality supply management. The Supervisor will work closely with the Manager and research teams to forecast needs, adjust supply levels, and proactively respond to changing requirements.
Key responsibilities include placing and tracking orders, managing catalog costs, and using SAP to maintain inventory accuracy. The Supervisor will also adjust safety stock and reorder levels, identify inventory discrepancies, and help develop standards for optimal inventory management.
This role includes team leadership, providing guidance to supply chain professionals, fostering collaboration, and aligning team efforts with Broad’s broader supply chain objectives.
