Order Management Lead Job Description:

The Golden Hog is seeking a hands-on Order Management Lead to oversee daily customer order management, order processing, and fulfillment operations across our grocery, food-service, and eCommerce channels. This role is responsible for coordinating phone, online, in-store, pickup, delivery, and catering orders, supervising order preparation and accuracy, monitoring fulfillment timelines, and ensuring effective communication between customers and internal departments.

The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, detail-oriented, and experienced in leading teams in a fast-paced retail or food-service environment. This position also supports staff training, workflow coordination, order management systems, customer issue resolution, and continuous improvements to ensure efficient operations, timely order fulfillment, and a consistently positive customer experience.

Requirements

Order Management Lead Qualifications:

• Previous experience in order management, order fulfillment, customer service leadership, retail operations, eCommerce, or a similar supervisory role preferred.
• Experience leading, training, and coordinating employees in a fast-paced retail, grocery, hospitality, or food-service environment.
• Strong understanding of order processing, customer order accuracy, fulfillment procedures, and delivery coordination.
• Ability to manage phone, online, in-store, pickup, and catering orders while maintaining accurate records and timely execution.
• Experience using POS systems, order management software, online ordering platforms, and digital tools; familiarity with Odoo preferred.
• Strong customer service, communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to coordinate with Kitchen, Deli, Bakery, Grocery, and Delivery teams to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize multiple orders and operational needs.
• Dependable, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership of daily operations, team performance, and customer satisfaction.
• Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays based on operational needs.
• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.
