Job Type Full-time

Job Title: Regional Sales Manager
Company: The Stranger and Portland Mercury
Location: Seattle with frequent travel to Portland

Salary $120,000

The Stranger and Portland Mercury are looking for a sales leader who can take a winning team even further, sharpen the strategy behind every pitch, and keep fearless, independent local media thriving in Seattle and Portland.

The Regional Sales Manager will lead day-to-day sales operations across our flagship Pacific Northwest markets, directly managing the account executives and sales coordinators who serve Seattle (The Stranger) and Portland (Portland Mercury). This is a hands-on, player-coach role focused on hitting revenue targets, developing a high-performing team, and selling Noisy Creek’s full portfolio of advertising, sponsorship, events, and ticketing products.

Working closely with local Publishers and reporting to the revenue leadership team, the Regional Sales Manager will set quotas, coach reps, manage the regional pipeline, and own the relationships with our most important advertisers and agency partners. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable building a sales strategy and getting in the field to close business alongside the team.

This is a full-time, exempt, management position, based in Seattle, that requires frequent travel to Portland.
