Chemical Analyst - Renewable Fuels/Natural Gas

Overview

Kimley-Horn is looking for Chemical Engineering graduates to join our Frisco, Texas (TX) office in 2027! This is not a remote position.

Responsibilities

· Utilize technical software programs on a regular basis to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for our clients.

· Supports project teams with foundational chemical engineering work, data collection, calculations, documentation, process evaluation, and multidisciplinary coordination across chemical/process, treatment, environmental, renewable energy, and industrial systems projects.

· Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce our clients’ visions for the future built environment.

· Develop familiarity with the federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn’s and our client’s practices, procedures, and standards.

· Participate in field observations, facility walks, site visits, and team meetings as needed.

· Develop technical judgment, software proficiency, and professional communication skills through project work and mentoring.

Qualifications

• An ABET accredited engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters) by Summer 2027 in one of the following majors:

  o Chemical Engineering

  o Mechanical, Electrical, Biological, Biosystems, Civil, or Agricultural Engineering

  o Engineering Technology
