Mazot - Cashier

Position Overview

Do you thrive in high-energy environments, love the outdoors, and have a passion for great food and exceptional guest experiences? Join our Culinary Services team at Mt. Hood Meadows as a Mazot Cashier, where your “office” is a scenic mountainside outpost accessible only by ski or snowboard.

This is not your typical food service job, it’s a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment surrounded by some of the most stunning winter views in the Pacific Northwest. You’ll take guest orders, prepare food and beverages, and help create memorable mountain experiences while keeping the outdoor seating area clean, safe, and welcoming. From setting up the deck to shoveling snow, you’ll play an important role in keeping the Mazot running smoothly throughout the day.

We’re looking for experienced restaurant professionals who enjoy working independently, thrive in a busy service environment, and take pride in delivering great hospitality. Candidates must have at least two years of high-volume restaurant experience, an Oregon Food Handler’s Card, an OLCC Service Permit, and the ability to ski or snowboard to and from the Mazot. If you’re looking for an adventure-filled role with a great team and a pretty incredible mountain commute, this could be the job for you. Bonus points if you can carve a clean line through fresh powder before your shift starts.

This is a full-time, seasonal position

Qualifications & Experience

• 2 years high-volume restaurant experience required      
• At least 21 years of age 
• Oregon Food Handler’s Card & OLCC Permit  
• Ability to work independently  
• Ability to Ski or Snowboard  
• Must be comfortable with the changing dynamics of a seasonal business 
• Available to work weekends and holidays during winter operations 

Compensation:

• Wage: $ 17.25-19.17 hourly + Tips
