Kinstead helps experienced Nurse Practitioners across Massachusetts launch independent practices of their own, with the guidance and support to make getting started feel manageable.

This isn’t a traditional NP job. You’ll own your practice, choose the patients you want to serve, and have more control over your schedule. We’ll help put the infrastructure in place so you can focus on what you do best: caring for patients.

Getting started may be easier than you expect

You don't need a large patient panel from day one. Most practices can cover their basic costs with fewer than 3 patient visits per month, and startup costs are typically less than $3,000.

As your practice grows, NPs typically take home around $100–$200 per clinical hour, with the potential to earn around $300,000 annually in a full-time practice.

More than 50 Nurse Practitioners have already partnered with Kinstead to start and grow independent practices of their own.

Who we're looking for

This could be a good fit if you:

• Are an experienced FNP, PMHNP, or other Nurse Practitioner

• Hold an active Massachusetts NP license and meet the state’s requirements for independent practice

• Have several years of experience caring for patients

• Have strong connections to the community you hope to serve

• Have considered opening your own practice, even if you're not sure where to begin

• Want more control over how you care for patients and how you structure your work

You don't need to come in with a business plan. You don't need to understand the ins and outs of credentialing or billing. And you don't need to be ready to leave your current job.
