Trust Accounting Specialist

Overview

Nelson Mullins, an AmLaw 100 Firm,  is seeking a Trust Accounting Specialist to join the Accounting Department in our Columbia office. In this role, you will help support trust accounting needs across the firm’s nationwide footprint.

A Day in the Life

In this role you will manage a broad range of trust accounting activities, including responding to inquiries; processing and posting trust deposits and payments; handling checks and wire transfers; completing reconciliations; and monitoring online banking. You will join an engaged team where priorities move quickly and opportunities to learn are part of the work.

We Know You

You bring at least three years of accounting experience and are comfortable managing a high volume of trust deposits while building productive relationships with internal stakeholders and bank representatives. You approach your work with accuracy, sound judgment, and a strong commitment to client service. You are a dependable team member with a strong work ethic and an interest in continued learning.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant work experience will also be considered
• Law firm experience is a plus
