Jr. Buyer Clerk

Description

Junior buyer provides routine reporting to internal customers to maintain ERP accuracy for PO status, financial postings and close.

Responsibilities:

· Maintain and develop the best position with vendors to insure we are the exclusive or first point of call for any off-price activity.

· Continuously updated Competitor knowledge within both off price and full price to insure The Outnet is the premier off-price destination.

· High level of trend awareness both for the Departments of responsibility and the market in general

· Feeding upload and buy strategies internally to all relevant teams, including Marketing, Upload and Editorial to ensure the business is up to date with all developments.

· Management and Development of Buyer’s Assistant in conjunction with the Buyer

· Current & New Lines

· Provide target price matrix by category/ lifestyle to guide the design team on price points for each season.

· Analyze costing history/trends for each product category.

· In partnership with Senior Buyer research, comp shopping and new product opportunities

· Maintain order processing and ensure deliveries on schedule.

Requirements

Must High School Diploma or Equivalent

Desired skills: 

· MS Office

· Excel

· ERP in Procure to Pay will be an added advantage.

· Bringing new

· Microsoft Excel

· Well thought out ideas to contribute to the Buying process.

· High Street

· Word

· Any ERP

· ERP and input confirmations from suppliers into ERP
