Sr Account Executive, Sales

Position Summary: As a Senior Account Executive, you are responsible for generating new business and driving revenue by selling Inter Miami CF ticket inventory across designated seating categories. This role will focus on developing new business through strategic prospecting, cold calling, face-to-face appointments, networking, referrals, and business-to-business relationship building. The Senior Account Executive will also serve as a leader within the sales team by helping drive team performance, sharing best practices, and supporting the development of fellow Account Executives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prospect, research, develop, and close new business through cold calling, face-to-face appointments, networking, referrals, and other outbound sales strategies.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and discovery through closing, account development, and retention.
• Consistently meet or exceed individual weekly, monthly, and annual revenue and prospecting goals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with businesses, organizations, community groups, and other key partners throughout the South Florida market.
• Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects and effectively manage sales activity within the organization's CRM.
• Provide a high level of customer service throughout the sales process and develop relationships that lead to repeat business and referrals.
• Serve as a resource and mentor to Inside Sales and Account Executives by sharing successful sales strategies, prospecting techniques, and best practices.
• Participate in team meetings, sales training, role-playing sessions, and other initiatives designed to improve individual and team performance.
• Represent Inter Miami CF at games, networking events, community initiatives, and other organizational events.
• Play an active role in the Inter Miami CF gameday experience and assist with hosting clients and prospects.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, prospect information, and account details as defined by the organization.
• Demonstrate leadership, professionalism, and a positive attitude while helping contribute to a high-performance sales culture.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 4+ years of successful sales experience, preferably within professional or collegiate sports, entertainment, hospitality, or a related industry.
• Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Demonstrated ability to prospect, close new business, and develop long-term client relationships.
• Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. 
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
• Exceptional reliability, interpersonal, communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a highly collaborative team environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and positively influence fellow team members.
• Exhibit sound judgment, professionalism, accountability, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends, and event days, in a fast-paced sports environment.
• Strong interest in soccer, sports, and the Inter Miami CF brand is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is preferred.
• Experience with ticketing CRM systems; Salesforce and Archtics preferred.
• Experience working in the Florida/South Florida marketplace is preferred but not required.
