Inside the Role
Vehicle Architecture is a department where you get to lead with the vehicle view to help lead the development of industry leading products that deliver customer value. As a Systems Integration Engineer III, you will act as a vehicle level lead for the integration of 3rd party powertrains into DTNA’s platforms. Leading with the vehicle view, you will thoroughly understand the customer’s needs (Customer Value Criteria) and align our 3rd party powertrain development programs to deliver customer value throughout the development cycle, design verification, and ultimately a final sign off on the vehicle as ready for the customer.Posting Information

What you Drive At DTNA:
- Turn Vehicle Powertrain Strategy into Action: Ensure alignments of new powertrain programs with customer value criteria and business objectives.
- Technical Leadership: Collaborate with E&T partners to ensure clarity of integration requirements (feature performance criteria, indirect requirements, etc) to seamless integration of 3rd party powertrain components and software to ensure they deliver customer value.
- Feature and Software Integration: Collaborate with E&T, TT/S, TT/X, and 3rd party powertrain suppliers to achieve a consistent customer experience across all medium duty, vocational and highway products.
- 3rd Party Powertrain Readiness: Work with E&T, TT/S, TT/X, and 3rd party powertrain component suppliers to ensure platform readiness for launch and vehicle level sign off for integration.
- Progress Checks: Define and monitor progress checks, ensuring technical attributes advance toward defined goals for platforms.
Knowledge You Should Bring:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 7+ years of experience in vehicle engineering, systems integration, or technical program management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive technical strategy at the vehicle/platform level.
- Strong knowledge of automotive and software development processes, quality gates, and lifecycle management.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to mediate technical decisions and facilitate progress in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
