At Northwestern Medicine Palos Hospital, we believe that a smooth transition from the ER to inpatient care is crucial for optimal patient outcomes. Our ER Transitional Care department is dedicated to ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of care, with a focus on safety, comfort, and a seamless transition to the next phase of their medical journey.

In this role, you will care for patients who are boarding in the Emergency Department while awaiting an inpatient bed. You will deliver comprehensive nursing care through patient monitoring, assessments, medication and infusion management, and other essential clinical interventions. Opportunities to collaborate with inpatient teams, including supporting discharge processes, are also part of this position.

We are seeking nurses with a strong background in Telemetry or Med Surg for this position.
