The Director of Finance is responsible for overseeing all financial operations for the inpatient rehabilitation hospital. This includes budget planning, financial reporting, audit management, and driving departmental efficiency aligned with organizational goals.  

How you’ll contribute  

A Director, Finance who excels in this role: 

• Oversees all financial operations, including budgeting, projections, accounts receivable, month-end close, and financial reporting.
• Develops and implement departmental goals, plans, and standards consistent with legal, ethical, clinical, and administrative requirements.
• Directs and evaluate departmental operations, including patient care support, IT systems, service levels, and complaint resolution.
• Plans and monitors staffing activities including hiring, orientation, evaluation, disciplinary actions, and continuing education.
• Prepares and evaluates departmental budgets, ensuring compliance with financial targets.
• Coordinates and lead internal and external audits.
• Creates and foster a professional environment that supports staff development.

What we’re looking for 

Education:  Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Applicable work experience may be used in lieu of education.

Qualifications: 

• Requires strong leadership in healthcare financial management, staffing, and compliant.  

• Must be able to influence, negotiate, and communicate across departments and leadership levels.

   

This is a, Onsite, Full Time Salaried position that is bonus eligible.
