Treasury & Business Digital Banking Specialist I

River Run is a shared services organization that supports banking affiliates, Newburyport Bank, Pentucket Bank and Rollstone Bank & Trust. 

This position can be located at either Storey Ave in Newburyport, MA or Main Street in Fitchburg, MA. 

The Treasury and Business Digital Banking Specialist I provides day-to-day operational support for Business Digital Banking and Treasury Management products across River Run’s subsidiary banks. Responsibilities include setting up, maintaining, and servicing business digital banking relationships and treasury services, including ACH, wire transfers, Positive Pay, and Remote Deposit Capture. The Specialist handles routine customer and internal service requests, supports customer implementations and ongoing maintenance, and collaborates with Treasury Sales Officers, Business Banking, Service Center, and other departments to ensure effective service delivery. The role requires accurate completion of operational activities in accordance with established procedures, controls, security requirements, and regulatory standards.

Essential Job Functions  

Business Digital Banking

• Resolve Business Digital Banking support tickets and provide first-level support to internal staff and business customers.
• Perform routine setup, maintenance, and servicing of business customers, users, accounts, access, entitlements, and services in accordance with established procedures.
• Assist with the implementation and ongoing maintenance of Business Digital Banking products and services.

Treasury Operations

• Resolve Treasury Management support tickets and assist with customer inquiries and operational issues, escalating complex or unusual matters as appropriate.
• Perform routine operational activities supporting Treasury Management products and services, including ACH, wire transfers, Positive Pay, Remote Deposit Capture, and related services.
• Partner with Treasury Sales Officers and Business Banking teams to support customer service needs and effective service delivery.

Compliance and Security

• Follow all bank policies, procedures, controls, and regulatory requirements related to digital banking and Treasury Management services.
• Maintain customer confidentiality and protect sensitive information in accordance with privacy and security policies.
• Educate customers on online and mobile banking security best practices, including password management and fraud prevention.
• Report suspected fraud, security breaches, or other security concerns to appropriate personnel.

Requirements

Qualifications, Experience, and Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in banking, customer service, online banking support, or a related field.
• Familiarity with digital banking platforms, including Online Banking, Bill Pay, and Treasury Management Services.
• Strong customer service, written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively support customers by phone and email.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work independently.
• Proficiency with banking software, including Horizon, CRM tools, office software, financial reporting, and data entry.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across departments while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and quality service.
