Sheet Metal Supervisor

Job Purpose: The Sheet Metal Supervisor provides quality aircraft maintenance and modifications in a variety of areas while providing daily leadership and direction to all technicians within the sheet metal shop.

Responsibilities:                                                  

• Provide overall sheet metal quality control, and monitoring of all sheet metal technicians for consistency

• Foster and develop a high-performing team

• Work with shop leads to ensure projects remain on schedule and proper documentation and support is available
• Clearly communicate priorities to leads and technicians
• Assist leads and technicians with the layout of projects
• Assist the manager with daily activities
• Verify necessary parts ordering and partner with logistics technician to ensure proper stock
• Make important decisions and follow through with them while following proper procedures and processes
• Ensure employees that require OJT complete the prescribed training to a satisfactory level
• Understand and apply FAA and 145 repair station and safety standards
• At times, act as the lead on multiple projects in support of the sheet metal shop

Skills/Qualifications:

• A&P License required, IA preferred
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and overtime as needed
• A team player, and able to collaborate with other Dynamic Aviation teams
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must be detail-oriented and well-organized

Pay Band: $72,000 - $88,000.  Starting pay is determined by experience, qualifications, and internal equity, and typically falls between the minimum and midpoint of the pay range.
