Market Communications Lead - North America

Description -

Overview

North America is HP's largest and most strategically important market, representing a significant share of the company's revenue, commercial business, partner ecosystem, and industry influence. The Market Communications Lead (MCL) for North America is the senior communications leader for the region and the single point of accountability for communications across the U.S. and Canada.

Reporting to the Head of Global GTM Communications, the MCL is responsible for defining and driving the North America communications agenda in support of business priorities, market leadership, reputation, and growth.  Leading the North America communications function, the role owns an integrated communications strategy spanning earned, owned, social, executive, product, commercial, and channel communications, ensuring a unified and differentiated market narrative.

The successful candidate will bring a modern earned-first mindset, recognizing that influence is built through executive thought leadership, customer and partner advocacy, industry engagement, influencer engagement, social amplification, media, and other forms of third-party validation. Given the importance of HP's channel ecosystem to the region's success, this leader will define and advance communications strategies that strengthen partner engagement, amplify HP's market influence, and support business growth.

Working in close partnership with Corporate Affairs, the MCL will identify opportunities to drive relevance and influence through regional storytelling, customer and partner advocacy, local market engagement, vertical industry narratives, and other forms of earned attention that advance North America business priorities.
