Department Manager - Civil and Environmental Engineering (Minneapolis)

·       Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Construction, or related discipline.

·       Minimum 7 years of relevant civil or environmental engineering experience, including project management responsibilities.

·       Previous leadership and/or management experience is preferable.

·       Demonstrated experience leading civil/environmental engineering projects and project teams across various markets (industrial, utilities, state/local government, etc.)

·       Position requires the ability to thoughtfully and positively influence, lead, and manage change.

·       Understanding of regional permitting frameworks, environmental regulations, and compliance programs.

·       Strong skills in client engagement, project delivery, and multidisciplinary team leadership.

·       Exceptional communication, coordination, and problem-solving capabilities.

·       Professional Engineer (PE) registration (preferred).

·       Proven business development track record, including client relationships within the Upper Midwest region.

·       Experience directing environmental consulting teams and collaborating with construction project managers, project controls, scheduling, construction managers, etc.

·       Experience managing environmental multi-disciplinary Design-Build projects is a plus.
