Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, with an emphasis in structural engineering. Master’s degree with an emphasis in structural engineering strongly preferred.
Minimum of 7 years experience, 15 years preferred, on a variety of engineering projects.
The candidate must be a licensed Professional Engineer (PE). Licensed Structural Engineer (SE) or on track to take the SE exam is desirable.
Experience managing bridge projects and tracking financial performance of projects.
Demonstrated leadership ability.
Extensive experience with the design of different bridge components including superstructures, substructures and foundations is required.
Candidate must possess advanced technical proficiency, critical thinking skills, and problem-solving ability.
Experience executing engineering designs with aid of software such as OpenBridge, MDX, RISA, MIDAS or equivalent.
Knowledge of CADD software including Bentley MicroStation.
