As a Junior Accountant at Segal, you’ll support the day-to-day financial operations that keep our business moving, including reconciliations, journal entries, close activities, reporting, budgeting support, and compliance with internal policies and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

The primary duties of the Junior Accountant include, but may not be limited to:

• Support monthly and quarterly close activities, including journal entries, daily cash sheet preparation, and bank and cashbook reconciliations.
• Prepare and analyze balance sheet and expense account reconciliations, including general ledger, bank statement, and daily cash sheet activity.
• Create monthly internal Profit and Loss statements for distribution to reporting groups and provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting for leaders, including Directors and the CFO.
