Pool Cardiac Sonographer 3 - USFTGP Pediatrics Cardiology

The OB Sonographer III performs advanced and high‑risk OB/GYN ultrasound examinations under the direction of Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) and GYN Imaging physicians while adhering to established protocols and quality standards. This role is responsible for obtaining pertinent clinical history, correlating that information with the indicated examination, and using independent judgment to acquire all required images, anatomical documentation, and measurements. The Sonographer must demonstrate expert knowledge of fetal and gynecologic anatomy, physiology, pathology, and sonographic principles, and is expected to deliver compassionate, patient‑centered care aligned with USFTGP’s mission, vision, and values. The OB Sonographer III routinely performs specialized OB and GYN procedures— including Level II fetal anatomy, fetal echocardiography, Doppler studies, saline infusion sonohysterography, and ultrasound guidance for invasive procedures—and supports a collaborative, respectful work environment. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
