Legal Talent Management Specialist - Junior Associates

Paul, Weiss is looking to hire a Legal Talent Management Specialist to support the Corporate Department’s junior associates and rotation system.
The Legal Talent Management Specialist will report directly to the Legal Talent Management Associate Director – Junior Associates and the Legal Talent Management Senior Manager – Junior Associates and will assist with the following:
 

Responsibilities:
• Provide day-to-day support to the Legal Talent Management Associate Director/Senior Manager on various Corporate Department and practice group initiatives.
• Assist with first and second year staffing across all groups within the Corporate Department.
• Leverage financial reporting, analytics, and benchmarking to monitor growth and improve associate productivity; collaborate with assigning partners.
• Develop and foster relationships within amongst the junior associates and meet with them one-on-one frequently.
• Assist with the management all aspects of the rotation program, including end-of-rotation reviews, practice group preference surveys, individual and firmwide communications, and assignment of mentors.
• Assist with lateral integration and onboarding to facilitate effective transition into the department
• Serve as point of contact for attorney vacation requests and upkeep of data.
• Manage the Corporate Department calendar, and serve as point of contact with Conference Reservations, Flik and IS on various services required.
• Work with the Events team to plan practice group events for the junior class.
• Assist with all aspects of the evaluation process, including assembling review packets.
• Schedule and prepare materials and talking points for partner meetings.
• Assist the Legal Talent Management Department with various other administrative duties.
