Junior Financial Data Analyst

Job Description

The Junior Financial Data Analyst is responsible for the collection, validation, analysis, and reporting of business data to assist stakeholders in making informed decisions. This role works closely with senior analysts and business users to maintain reports, document requirements, and ensure data accuracy across reporting platforms.

Key Responsibilities
·Document report, dashboard, and project requirements, including specifications and Statements of Work (SOWs).
·Collect, validate, and analyze datasets used in reporting and business analysis initiatives.
·Manage and optimize report and dashboard access by maintaining user permissions and security groups.
·Contribute to the the development, enhancement, and maintenance of SSRS and Power BI reports and dashboards.
·Develop proficiency in the programming language, databases, and data structures utilized by the firm. 
·Reconcile datasets used in numerous reporting and dashboards. 
·Develop an understanding of the firm's reporting tools, databases, data structures, and business processes.
·Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve data quality issues.
