The Housekeeping Houseperson is responsible for supporting the housekeeping team in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms, public areas, guest floors, and service spaces. This role plays a key part in delivering a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for guests while supporting operational efficiency within the department.

Responsibilities:

·         Maintain cleanliness and presentation of public areas, guest corridors, service areas, and back of house spaces in accordance with Hyatt standards

·         Support housekeeping operations by delivering linen, removing trash, and assisting room attendants as needed

·         Ensure prompt response to housekeeping requests and departmental needs throughout the shift

·         Operate cleaning equipment and handle chemicals in a safe and efficient manner following established procedures

·         Maintain organization of storage areas, housekeeping closets, and supplies to ensure readiness and efficiency

·         Assist with deep cleaning projects and special assignments as directed by leadership

·         Demonstrate strong teamwork and communication with housekeeping colleagues and other hotel departments

·         Promote Hyatt’s Culture of Care through attention to detail and service excellence
