The University Counseling Center (UCC) is a department within the Division of Student Affairs and aligned under the Wellness Team consisting of Campus Recreation, Student Health Services, Care and Resource Support, and Financial Wellness. Accredited by the International Accreditation of Counseling Services (IACS) and American Psychological Association (APA), the UCC exists to ensure healthy and thriving lives for the University of Pittsburgh's diverse student population by providing crisis intervention, outreach, workshops, group, individual, and relationship therapy. Consistent with the University and Division of Student Affairs' mission and values, members of the UCC team are committed to cultural humility, justice, and inclusion. As a staff with our own diverse identities - both visible and invisible - we seek to provide support that honor students' unique needs, concerns, and personhoods. The University of Pittsburgh is seeking a recent Master's graduate to join the UCC as Pre-Licensed Clinician with generalist experience (additional training or experience with eating disorders, trauma, and/or substance use is welcomed). This clinician will provide direct and indirect services in the UCC including but not limited to individual, relationship, and group therapy; clinical consultation; outreach programming; and clinical supervision and training as assigned. This clinician will have the opportunity to serve on committees within and outside of the UCC.
