Associate Veterinarian

Company Description

Associate Veterinarian — Coweta Animal Hospital (Newnan, GA)

A "City of Homes" looking for a great vet to call it home too.

Coweta Animal Hospital is looking for an Associate Veterinarian to join our team in Newnan, Georgia — a picture-perfect small city just southwest of Atlanta, known for its historic downtown, tree-lined streets, and genuinely warm community. If you're looking for a well-established practice, a compassionate team, and a town with real character, we'd love to talk.

About the Role

Join a full-service, well-respected small animal hospital with a loyal client base built over years of dedicated, compassionate care.

• Full- or part-time schedule available
• Competitive salary + production, relocation assistance, and full benefits package
• Modern equipment including digital radiography, ultrasound, and in-house lab services
• Small animal surgery, wellness medicine, dental care, and boarding services
• A tight-knit, supportive team that treats every patient — and every teammate — like family

Why Newnan, Georgia?
Newnan has earned its nickname "The City of Homes" for its stunning antebellum architecture, but there's a lot more going on than just pretty houses.

• A walkable, film-ready downtown. Newnan's nine-block historic downtown square has been the backdrop for numerous TV shows and movies, centered around the striking 1904 Coweta County Courthouse, with its copper dome and hand-wound clock tower.
• Georgia's oldest Carnegie library still in use sits right downtown — a great stop for architecture lovers and history buffs alike.
• Home to country legend Alan Jackson, celebrated with a large mural downtown honoring the Newnan native.
• A genuine small-business, small-bookstore kind of town. Browse Newnan Book Company or Morally Gray Bookstore, grab a drink at The Pharmacy Speakeasy (yes, a hidden speakeasy), or catch a show at Wadsworth Auditorium.
• 2,910 acres of outdoor space next door. Chattahoochee Bend State Park — one of Georgia's largest state parks — offers hiking, biking, paddling, camping, and riverfront views just a short drive away.
• The LINC trail network and Carl Miller Park (complete with a splash pad, fishing pier, and walking trails) give you plenty of ways to unwind after a shift.
• A community that shows up. Newnan Porchfest fills the city with live music every May, Market Day brings the downtown square to life with local vendors, and the Southern LitFest draws book lovers every other June.
• Close to everything. Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is roughly 25–30 minutes away, and downtown Atlanta itself is under an hour — so big-city amenities (and easy travel) are always within reach, while home stays refreshingly small-town.
