ASRC Federal Facilities Logistics LLC, a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to support our Prime NASA program at Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, MD.
SUMMARY / GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF JOB:
The Heavy Equipment Operator operates heavy equipment such as:
- cranes,
- clamshells,
- power shovels,
- motor graders,
- heavy loaders,
- carryalls,
- bulldozers,
- rollers,
- scrapers, and
- large industrial tractors with pan or scrapper attachments.
Equipment is used to:
- excavate,
- load, or
- move dirt, gravel, or other materials.
Read and interpret grade and slope stakes and simple plans, and may grease, adjust, and make emergency repairs to equipment.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 4 experience performing as a Heavy Equipment Operator
