This position plays a vital role in supporting audiology services and hearing screening programs while creating an exceptional experience for patients and families.

Position Details:
What You'll Do
As a Hearing Technician, you will support both clinical and administrative functions within our Audiology department, including:
- Perform hearing screenings utilizing OAE and ABR testing methods
- Obtain and document appropriate patient and family history information
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Assist with patient check-in, registration, scheduling, and front desk workflows
- Support hearing aid services, including non-billable hearing aid maintenance and repairs
- Collaborate with audiologists and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
- Follow all safety, infection prevention, confidentiality, and patient rights policies
- Adapt schedules and workflows to meet patient volume and operational needs
- Learn and implement new audiology technologies and equipment as they become available
What We're Looking For
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent college credit
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and accurately
- Customer-focused approach with a passion for helping patients and families
- Ability to work effectively with healthcare professionals and the public
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field
- Previous patient care experience
- Previous hearing testing or audiology experience
- Experience working in a medical office, clinic, or hospital setting
