Pete’s RV Center is looking for motivated, hands-on individuals to join our growing Service Team as RV Service Technician Apprentices! This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with their hands, learning new technical skills, and building a rewarding career in the RV industry.

As an RV Service Technician Apprentice, you will learn how to inspect, test, and troubleshoot RV systems, equipment, and appliances to ensure every unit is ready for customer pickup. With our proven training program and on-the-job guidance, we will help you develop the mechanical, technical, and diagnostic skills needed to succeed in this exciting and growing industry.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and test RV equipment, appliances, and systems to ensure proper operation before customer pickup.
• Perform basic repairs, maintenance, and adjustments across multiple areas, including carpentry, mechanics, plumbing, minor electrical work, finish work, painting, and HVAC.
• Learn to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve mechanical and technical issues under the guidance of experienced technicians.
• Prioritize assigned work orders, respond to urgent requests, and complete preventative maintenance tasks in a timely manner.
• Follow all company policies, standard operating procedures, safety guidelines, applicable codes, and industry regulations.
• Maintain accurate and complete records of completed work, requested repairs, and ongoing projects.
• Use tablet-based technology and dealership software to document inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment.
• Work efficiently in a performance-based environment while maintaining high standards of quality and productivity.
• Deliver exceptional workmanship and help ensure an excellent Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI).
• Qualifications
• ·         Strong interest in mechanical and technical work, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
• Willingness to learn new skills and participate in ongoing training.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to navigate tablet-based technology and learn new software.
• A positive attitude, dependable work ethic, and commitment to teamwork.
• Ability to work in a performance-based environment and meet productivity and quality expectations.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including bending, squatting, stretching, and regularly lifting up to 25 pounds. Occasional lifting of 50–100 pounds may be required.
