Overview: Join Xerox as a Materials Engineer II, where you will apply your expertise in semiconductor materials to support the development and delivery of xerographic printers, scanners, and related technologies. This hands-on engineering role combines laboratory analysis, technical problem-solving, and collaboration across R&D and manufacturing teams. You will help evaluate materials, product performance, and reliability while working with multidisciplinary engineering teams and global vendors. Why Join This Team:

- Analyze electronic and semiconductor materials to support product development and manufacturing activities
- Conduct laboratory testing using optical microscopy, SEM, X-ray imaging, chip decapsulation, cross-sectioning, BGA analysis, and related techniques
- Interpret technical data and provide recommendations regarding materials, product performance, and reliability
- Collaborate with onsite engineering teams across multiple disciplines and partner with global vendors
- Perform laboratory activities in accordance with chemical hygiene and radiation safety requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Materials Engineering
- 3 to 10 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of silicon processing techniques and microelectronics packaging
- Strong laboratory, analytical, technical problem-solving, and data interpretation skills
- Experience with ion polishing, particle manipulation, and dimensional or morphological measurement techniques is a plus
- Hands-on exposure to advanced materials characterization and laboratory techniques
- Collaboration with multidisciplinary R&D and manufacturing engineering teams
- Opportunities to work with global vendors and other Xerox locations
- Exposure to product development, materials analysis, and reliability activities
- Minimal travel for training, vendor visits, instrument evaluations, and collaboration with other Xerox locations
