What you’ll be doing

What you’ll be doing 

• Clear, clean, and reset restaurant tables quickly and efficiently throughout service periods. 

• Support Servers and Food & Beverage teams by refilling water, delivering supplies, and assisting guest needs as required. 

• Maintain cleanliness and organization across dining rooms, service stations, beverage areas, and guest-facing spaces. 

• Assist with setup and breakdown of restaurant, banquet, and event spaces as needed. 

• Remove used dishes, glassware, silverware, trash, and linens while maintaining sanitation and cleanliness standards. 

• Restock service stations with utensils, napkins, condiments, glassware, and other operational supplies. 

• Follow food safety guidelines, sanitation procedures, and hotel operational standards at all times. 

• Partner closely with Servers, Bartenders, Culinary teams, and leadership to support smooth restaurant operations and guest satisfaction. 

• Monitor dining areas to ensure guests enjoy a clean, welcoming, and comfortable environment. 

• Help create a positive, team-oriented atmosphere aligned with Sonesta’s People People culture. 

• Any other duties as assigned. 

What great looks like 

• Previous restaurant, hospitality, food runner, busser, hotel, or customer service experience preferred. 

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment. 

• Strong teamwork, communication, and customer service skills. 

• A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and support the team wherever needed. 

• Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and guest experience standards. 

• Dependable, proactive, and able to multitask during busy service periods. 

• A passion for hospitality, teamwork, guest service, and creating memorable dining experiences. 

• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, holidays, and event support as needed.
