Overview

The Ice Crew members are part of a professional, high-energy team responsible for maintaining the ice surface before, during, and after events. Candidates should have strong skating skills and an interest in hockey and ice maintenance operation.

This role pays an hourly rate of $18.11 - $19.73 (per CBA).

Benefits as per the union agreement.

This position will remain open until December 11, 2026.

Responsibilities

Assist in quick changes, which include the construction/deconstruction of the penalty and player boxes.
Change out broken hockey glass during games.
Skate and remove snow during media timeouts.
Works safely, quickly, and efficiently to meet all deadlines.
Maintains a positive, outgoing demeanor.
Work independently and in a team environment.
All other tasks assigned by the Manager.

Qualifications

Experience working in an ice rink setting is preferred.
High school diploma or GED is preferred.
Must be comfortable in front of large crowds.
Must have proficiency with ice skating.
Must arrive for each scheduled shift on time, in uniform, and ready to work.
Must be able to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects on a frequent basis.
