Responsibilities

• Design customized exercise programs based on each client’s goals, movement assessment, and health history.
• Deliver safe, effective, and engaging personal training sessions.
• Track progress and perform regular reassessments to keep clients moving toward their goals.
• Coach clients in strength training, mobility, balance, functional fitness, and healthy lifestyle habits.
• Build lasting relationships that create accountability and an exceptional client experience.
• Collaborate with fellow trainers to continuously improve programming and coaching techniques.
• Maintain accurate client records and contribute to a clean, professional studio environment.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Exercise Physiology, or a related field
• Current CPR/AED certification (or ability to obtain before employment)
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong work ethic with dependable attendance
• Passion for improving the lives of others through fitness

Preferred

• National certification through NASM, ACE, ACSM, NSCA, ISSA, or equivalent
• One or more years of personal training experience
• Experience working with general population, active older adults, weight management, corrective exercise, and post-rehabilitation clients
